Sewing Basics

Getting some tea-dyed bundles ready for my Tattered Hearts & Soulful Whispers class. These were bundled, tied, and simmered. Now they're laid out to air dry. I'm also going to do some in the oven later today.

Soooooo, I discovered a renewed interest in sewing last year and made a few dresses and pants that I absolutely love! I offered to sew some shorts up for my girl, Rachel, who moved south last year. It's fun picking out favorite colors and patterns!

Been loving making these no-sew blankets recently from remnants! Perfect sizes for reading blankets, having morning coffee, evening snack, toddlers, and your favorite pet! So warm and cozy!❤

I don't know why, but I haven't played with Distress Inks in ages. It's been like visiting an old friend and I'm having a grand time!
